I run a Mac 10.3.9 with Firefox 2.0.0.20.
I was on a griddler list page and I got a red banner pop-up unlike any that a Mac would show - -"Warning - Windows has detected water in your monitor..."
The Griddler window shimmered and was unreadable, like pixels changing quickly in a few places over the entire window.

There was no water, but I shut down.
Any ideas?
No further problems.
