Option to sign in automatically?

Hey guys!
Most websites have an option when you log in, that says "Keep me signed in" or "Remember me on this computer", which this site does not have. Is there a particular reason for this? Could it be added?

The site should keep you logged in while you are solving. However, in my experience it does not work always like that. If you are in the forum and stay in those pages too long, the older part of the site logs you out. I suppose this will be fixed automatically once the rest of the site has been upgraded.
