Auto counter

You mentioned a while ago that you would initiate one.
I find it very hard to count long blocks, and if you could show the length of any block that would be so good.
Thanks. BB

I can't really think who mentioned it or why because there is a counter in iGridd applets for several years.

Open the puzzle window (griddlers), go through the menu to "View" and check "Show Tooltip".
The counter works in Line and Area modes.

Hagit, You assumed I was using iGridd. (I do have a subscription.)
I have been using griddlers the old way [Sign In / Puzzles / Griddlers] because I did not have OS10.4.

What is that called, as opposed to iGridd method?

When I got an iMac with 10.4.11 I continued the first way because I was used to it, and forgot about trying iGridd. That is where I wished for a counter.

Now that I am able, I suppose I should learn iGridd.
Thanks. BB

The counter does not do what I think it should.
If I have a long continuous row, but not complete, I want the counter to tell me how many [used or unused - depending on where I put the mouse] squares there are. This facilitates doing the overlap math.
