On Thursday, January 14th, the site was down for several hours because we replaced the old webserver with a new one and installed the site from scratch.

Why did we need to replace the server?
In the past weeks the site crashed every day, sometimes several times a day. The reason was a hardware failure. Part of the webserver was damaged after years of service. Therefore, the server "ached" to hold the site and eventually crashed.

It became a MUST to replace the machine - a sore reminder that it costs money to run a website. Sometimes, like in this case, a lot of money. Thanks to our subscribers we survived so far, but we are in real need of extra donations right now. We would be very grateful if you could help us, with a first or maybe even an extra donation.
